Garden sculptures

The setting is an essential when perceiving a sculpture. Raija Saathoff’s clay sculptures that you can see here consist of figures, beings, creatures or characters that are to be placed within a living surrounding. Not only do I want to promote her work but use it to demonstrate how two forms of art –planting design and sculptures- complement each other. If you are interested in her work please contact the artist raijasaa@web.de or me via email or visit Rassells Nursery in Earls Court, London to see some of her work.
